Miss Jennifer

Miss Jennifer is blessed with five beautiful boys who are her world.  She has a degree in the Culinary Arts, and she loves to cook.  She enjoys working at Bonaventure because it allows her the opportunity to do fun, creative crafts with the children and also fill their tummies with yummy food while offering encouragement to try different things.  Jennifer has the most beautiful laugh in the joy of the day.

Miss Melissa

Melissa is simply the big kid in the Sophomore room.  She lives in Northampton with her husband and two energetic, charming sons.  She enjoys spending time with her family hiking.  She has been teaching for several years, beginning her adventure in New Hampshire, caring for infants and toddlers.  Melissa loves the eagerness of children to  find new discoveries – how they can open our eyes to many new and exciting things!

Miss Susan

Susan has had many years of experience  working in a child care facility, beginning Bonaventure Academy in February 2008.  She previously worked at Bradford Schools, a business college, for seven years in the MIS department before deciding to leave the workforce and be a stay-at-home Mom.  As a active and involved mother of four, Susan volunteers extensively at her children’s schools and church youth programs.  She thoroughly enjoys watching her children in their personal "events"  and to excel and grow!

Miss Marisol

Mariosl has been in the child care field for over 15 years.  She is married with two wonderful and active children and enjoys shopping, going out to eat, and spending time with family.  Marisol loves to snuggle those munchkins and love them like her own, and has a special talent making sure all her friends have the best chance of success potty training!

The Sophomores
The Sophomore I and II program are designed for children who have developmentally moved on from our Freshman program and are looking for more challenges.  We move children by developmental milestones and personal goals rather than chronological age.  Children's days are slightly more structured than the Freshman rooms.  Children are introduced to 'group' activities during circle time (singing songs, learning body parts, playing hand games, etc.).  They are introduced to more art projects, manipulatives and specific activities regarding our theme of the week.  We continue to create activities and utilize play items to allow children to explore, create, and invent.  We encourage their innate desire to be independent, and desire to communicate and structure our activities around them.  We focus on socialization and how to "be a good friend".  We potty train when your child and you are ready, and in the manner that you select, acting as a compliment to your efforts.  In our Sophomore program, children have the benefit of being a part of a smaller, more intimate group to build skills that are perfect for their age group, and then group together to gain the benefits of multiage gatherings.

Miss Tori

Tori just recently dove into the wonderful world of childcare in early October 2015.  As a new graduate of DeSales University, B.A. Theatre, I have a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and love to offer to your kiddos.  Tori grew up in the Poconos, so in her spare time, she loves being outdoors and in the water.  She also enjoys spending time with her little family and my fiancé, and newest furry additions, Henry and Oliver!
